Simplifying Connections
At Side Door, we are all about fostering connections between Artists and Hosts for unforgettable shows, and we are thrilled to announce that it just got a lot easier to make that happen.
New Connect Page
First and foremost, we completely revamped our connection page to offer you a more intuitive and efficient experience. What's new:
Improved map: Artists and Hosts can now browse Show Calls directly on the interactive map. Simply click on a pin to effortlessly discover the affiliated Show Call.
Expanded user visibility: You can now see all Artists or Hosts on Side Door, not just those with a Show Call. These potential connections are represented by a red dot on the map. While you can't directly message them, you can create a Show Call for their region, notifying them that you're looking to perform nearby.
Enhanced search filters: Searching for Show Calls is now a breeze! We added more search filters to quickly find what you're looking for.
Simplified Show Call creation: For those moments when you're not quite sure where to create a Show Call, our interactive map will guide you. Browse the map to see which cities have the most potential, and when you find a good fit, click "Create Show Call" for the location field to automatically populate with the current location on the map.
