What’s New on Side Door 2025
Last time we posted, we were asking for help. As a startup, we’ve been lucky to get this far with private fundraising, but we are hitting the point where Side Door needs to sustain itself on revenue alone.
And wow, you answered the call. Hundreds of new artists and hosts joined, and we just had a record-breaking run of shows booked. We’re not at the finish line yet. We still need more hosts coming on board to match the huge demand from artists, but the momentum is real, and it’s thanks to you.
While all of that is happening, we’ve been busy making Side Door better behind the scenes. New features are live to make shows smoother, safer, and easier. We’re also pulling together our best content into a podcast and chatting with artists, hosts, and industry pros so you’ve got more resources at your fingertips.
Here’s a peek at what’s new.
Keep Your Login Safe
Need a hand at the door? Invite a Door Person to handle check-ins without ever giving away your password. It’s a simple way to share responsibilities while keeping your account secure.
Extra Security, Made Simple
Two-factor authentication is now live. Just a quick extra step at login to keep your account locked down and worry-free.This is currently a voluntary security measure.
Start the Show With Confidence
No more guessing if the crowd’s ready, see exactly how many of your audience has checked in and decide whether to start early, right on time, or hold off a little longer.
Guestlist, Your Way
Export your guestlist as a CSV, sort it however you like, and easily add those last-minute names. Whether it’s VIPs, friends, or media, your list is flexible and ready to roll.
